Attorney Abdul Abdurahman's areas of practice include Immigration and Naturalization and Employment Law. He has received recognition for his work in immigration and has litigated complex asylum claims based on persecution of victims of domestic violence and gender and sexual orientation, trafficking cases and immigrant victims of crimes. Attorney Abdurahman has represented businesses and individuals from around the world in business immigration, family immigration, consular processing matters, naturalization, deportation and removal, immigration compliance and policy development. He has advised foreign consulates on U.S. Immigration issues, businesses on the immigration consequences of personnel actions and reviewed employer immigration policies. Attorney Abdurahman has performed pro bono services to immigrant community-based organizations, foreign consulates, refugee resettlement agencies and domestic violence social service providers.

Attorney Abdurahman speaks Somali, Arabic and Turkish. He graduated with his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and studied International Business Transactions and Islamic Jurisprudence at American University in Cairo, Egypt. Attorney Abdurahman graduated with his B.A. from Central Connecticut State University and studied in Kenya, Uganda and Somalia and at The Middle East Technical Institute in Ankara, Turkey.
